To whom it may concern,
Luna will be going to the vet sometime this week.
She has seasonal pollen allergies and is starting to show signs of a breakout.
This includes:
1. Increased or excessive rubbing of the face or eye area
2. Lethargy
3. Slight decreased in interest of food
if your dog starts to show any of these signs contact your regular veterinarian for advice.
I started giving her an Antihistamine last night [Benadryl is safe for dog ingestion] but it looks as if she may need a steroid shot and some cream.
Once she’s feeling better I’ll be posting pictures regularly once again!
Sorry all.
siinfulbliss asked: hey your dog is beautiful i have a siberian husky as well he's only 3 months old just wondering ... any tips for potty training ? lol
Thanks so much! She appreciates the attention :P
Setting a “potty schedule” will help you greatly! Take him out as soon as you wake up in the morning, 30 minutes after eating, and a set time in the evening before bed. When he goes outside give him lots of affection and treats. You’ll pick up on his signs for having to go. He even might start letting you known with a whine or a scratch at the door. You might want to crate train him for enclosed evening space so no accidents happen around the house. Crate training also gives them their own space, a sort of “cave” if you will. Don’t use the crate as a punishment, he’ll begin to associate it with fear. And above all else, no matter what anyone tells you, don’t potty pad train him. It trains dogs that going inside the house is acceptable & it makes potty training even harder.
Other than that, just be vigilant. He’ll catch on eventually :)
If you have any other questions feel free to ask!
